GreenArt Equity Partners is a successor to CEE Equity Partners and builds on its heritage, team and competences to contribute to Europe’s Energy Transition. We have successfully invested in Renewables and Energy Transition assets, across geographies and phases of development and we are strong believers in the unprecedented need for investment in energy assets and the investment opportunity that it brings.

Our team, working together for over 10 years, has built a diversity of competences and combines the skillsets of private equity investing and Renewable Energy development and management. GreenArt Equity Partners’ team of 20+ investment professionals and 30+ RES professionals has in-house competence to cover the entire investment lifecycle, from project development, through EPC management and asset management up to project finance and transaction execution.

Investment Strategy

The Energy Transition Fund

The targets defined in European Green Deal and Fit for 55, pose a challenge and an investment opportunity. We expoit the latter. The Energy Transition Fund is a SFDR 8+ fund that targets projects and operating assets where we can add value through our expertise. We target:

  • Locations with preferable natural conditions for PV or wind and substantial convergence potential to reach 2030 target
  • Countries with supportive regulatory framework and PPA market and low country risk
  • In-house developed projects from GreenArt’s portfolio
  • Operational or ready-to-build assets with enhancement potential
  • Market sourced opportunities with bottlenecks that can be overcome

The Energy Transition Fund supports the Energy Transition of Europe.

The EU has set clear climate goals aimed at decarbonisation of Energy sources, increasing the share of Renewable Energy sources in the Energy mix and substituting fossil fuel with sustainable sources. In 2020, 21.8% of energy consumed came from RES and 29 out of 30 countries reached their respective targets set by the EU. New target for 2030: An ambitious increase to 32% which poses an unprecedented driver for RES development in all EU member states. The EU is considering raising the bar to 45% in its newest REPower E.U. strategy. This energy transition is estimated to cost EUR 5.3 trillion by 2030.
